ABOUT US

Welcome to the future of queer beauty

redefining beauty by evoking euphoria

OUR MISSION

We strive to provide necessary queer care in a way that's empowering and accessible with products that haven't existed before. We hope people of all identities can find love within themselves and walk confidently into the euphoric world that exists beyond binaries.

OUR VALUES

We want to bring sillyness and celebration to situations where many queer folk experience discomfort or dysphoria. Queerness and transness are not inherently dysphoric-we want to inspire folks to be themselves without shame!

OUR PLEDGE

We pledge to provide the most sustainable packaging possible, as there is almost nothing as beautiful as this planet we share. All of our containers are reusable, recyclable,  or both—send them back to us and we’ll take care of the rest. We’ll even cover the shipping!

LILY CHRONES

Founder of Transcendent Looks, Lily (they/them)  is an actor,  drag artist, licensed cosmetologist, and queer activist with ambition that doesn’t quit. Graduating with awards from both the Boston Conservatory at Berklee and Empire Beauty School of Cosmetology within one year, their do-it-all drive is nearly unstoppable. They strive to make art that challenges gender norms and actively engages their audiences, leading them to question what they know to be true about their own identities. Gender education is at the heart of everything they do and they have a unique perspective on the world being a queer, transgender, non-binary individual. There is so much art that centers around queer tragedy, but Lily hopes to create work that highlights queer joy and resistance.

DANE SALTZ

Partner and creative director of Transcendent Looks, Dane (they/he) is a multi-disciplinary artist, graphic designer, and type designer with a passion for branding and experimental typography. Graduating from Northeastern University in May of 2022, they hope to further examine the function of graphic design as activism queer spaces. They are currently working on a series of paintings exploring transness as it relates to their experience as a genderfluid individual. Dane also plans to arrange a solo exhibition featuring various 3D media to share their experience growing up as a queer person in a Jewish home. When they're not busy with creative projects, they enjoy going to punk shows with their partner and spoiling their cat Chicken.
